Trump Survey Comments

Trump Survey Comments.  This survey gave me an opportunity to voice my opinion on questions not asked in the survey, but are important to me.  Take advantage of this and use the space.  The comments section is a important addition to surveys.  We now have a place to be heard.  Use it.

As much as I am able, I wish to help with getting useful information out to the public.  After retirement I worked in Data Communications for several years.  I have started a blog (terrychavis1.com) to make my thoughts and opinions public.  The reason for the blog is that it can’t be shut down by Facebook or other forms of public communication.  I have made a political section in this blog.  My About Us page gives a history of what I am about.  If this survey is only about getting donations, my help is probably limited, but if it is about getting Donald Trump elected I think that I may be able to be of small help.

COMMENTS

  1. What I want to hear from Politicians. I want to hear what they will do, not about anything about their opponent.
  2. Right to life – In my personal life I wouldn’t want an abortion in my family, but I would support any member that thought they wanted one. I think that many Republicans have lost elections on this issue.  They always seem to fall into a trap when asked about their beliefs.  I respect their beliefs, even if they are not my own.  This is a political hotbed.  I suggest an answer be something like this “My personal and religious beliefs are not the issue.  This subject  belongs with the Supreme Court, and as an American, I support this court.”  My wording may not be what is needed, but I think the idea needs to be brought forth.
  3. President Trump is better at Action than Reaction. Many decisions do require reaction fast.  This is not what I am talking about.  I am talking about anger.  I have fallen into this trap myself.  No one is perfect and the person that never made a mistake, never did anything.
  4. The opposition can be a friend. Their challenges make you re-evaluate your stand.
  5. If the Republican Party wants to be a hero, challenge congress retirement and retirement medical privileges. If this issue is brought forward, it has to be the whole party, not split.
  6. I watched the President’s Celebration Speech, and at times, it was easy to see the anger. It is ok and human to be angry, but care needs to be taken when speaking publically.  It allowed the other side to be able to make correct comment on the speech.  Don’t give them this.  Don’t give them something else by making further comments on their response.
  7. I live in California. I will vote for Donald Trump, but I don’t think that he will carry the state.  As far as I am concerned, the politics in this state are a disaster.  I have hopes that my blog will be read by others in different states.  I am for cutting federal funding in this state.  It would probably cause me some harm personally, but I would accept this for the future good of this country .
  8. At one time, public education was the way to go for the basic education and I was for it. Things have changed.  Children are politically trained in our school system.  The result is what we are now seeing in the political world.  This is the same scenario that we see in Russia and China.  I wish to see the pledge of allegiance to the flag returned to our schools.  This is our heritage, and should not be a political issue.  I do not wish any of my tax money supporting the present agenda.  I now am for Charter Schools.
  9. The Wall – Building the wall has a high cost and would require maintenance. A wall protects us not only from illegal aliens.  It protects up from drugs, and terrorist.  It will not be 100% effective, but will almost stop the risks from these areas.  In California, more money is spent in one year because of illegal aliens, than it would take to build the wall.  Drug enforcement also has a high cost.  Counter terrorism also has a cost.  Children that are at risk would be reduced.  The strength of cartels in this country would likely be reduced.  The money spent in this area would also be reduced, making the “WALL” a great bargain.  I am a past Inspector of elections and I feel that the voting system is corrupt.
  10. The Census – Illegal’s are going to be counted in the census. Please don’t allow them to be counted for things like House of Representatives membership or electoral votes that a state has.

The ability to give input outside of the regular survey questions was new.  As a voter it gave me the ability to create and post the Trump Survey Comments.
