Are White Privileges Real

White privileges, are they real?  I am a white person, should I be ashamed of being white?  A list of these privileges exists.  I first heard of this list from one of my granddaughters.    We were discussing politics and President Trump.  Both are is a straight “A” students.

One of them is in High School and the other is 18 years old and starting college. My granddaughters were not raised with racial prejudices. Parents of their parents were not racial prejudice people. I was not raised with racial prejudice either. People need to get it into their head that racism and racial prejudice are different https://terrychavis1.com/index.php/2020/06/15/racism-and-prejudice-are-not-the-same/. Racism and prejudice do exist and legislation won’t change that. I don’t except that I have white privilege because racism or racial prejudice didn’t live in my house.

Proof is in the pudding

My mindset is to never change my mind on anything, unless I have new information. My youngest granddaughter informed me that she had researched the issues. She told me that she had researched Donald Trump. The Donald Trump issues were the same as I see on the major media news programs. On racial issues, she gave me information that a college professor had written. I don’t know if it was in a credited paper or if it was an online statement. White privilege became the subject of our conversation. I was shown a written list of them. The list found on the internet https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=link.springer.com+%E2%80%BA+pdf+%E2%80%BA+bbm%3A978-94-6209-500-7+%E2%80%BA+1.pdf

We were on a family vacation, and it was in a dead zone for the internet (You should try it.) Vacationing with them was fantastic, we got to talk). The internet existed but was so sketchy that texting was difficult and intermittent. My granddaughters felt that I wasn’t true because I didn’t change my mind on unproven information. I hot home and check for their information. I gave them my email address and asked that they email me the white privilege list and a copy of the college professors statements (proofs).

Voting for the left

My oldest granddaughter is going to vote for Biden. White privilege became the subject of our conversation. She feels that if she made a wrong decision, that it would be easy to change. Life will teach her differently. Privileged is what my granddaughter is. She has had more opportunities than available than my son. Privileges bought and paid for. What she doesn’t have is life experience.

I don’t hate or dislike people just because they are political correct or leftist. I do have a dislike people that have no regard for other people. People soak up the political agenda taught in school like a sponge. Experience is need in life. It isn’t part of the school studies.

People learn to hate

People are not born with hate. You can easily figure out where it comes from. Black lives matter is by definition a prejudice organization. It is political correctness at its worst.
