Racism And Prejudice Are Not The Same

Racism and prejudice are not the same. The dictionary will give you the correct definitions. . Racist is a word often used by the major news media to inflame people. This article is going to point out some of these abuses and how they affected me.

I’m Angry

I have not written anything for several days.  This is not because I have had nothing to say, but because I have had too much to say.  This is because I have been angry.  I am angry with the major news media, and I am angry with the actions of the American public.  There is more.  It is my feeling that the home of the brave no longer exists and the land of the free is in danger.  I’m angry that COVID-19 information is incomplete.  I don’t have respect for any American that shows disrespect for the American Flag.  This goes for any race or religion.

Protesters ignore the rights of others

In America we have unprecedented rights.  We have the right to protest, but this right doesn’t extend to abusing the rights of others.  When protesters block a road or a business, they are doing harm to others.  This harm can be minor or it can be life threatening.  It may even cost a life or lives.  What if you had the need to get to a hospital in an emergency, but you were blocked by traffic from a protest.  This traffic doesn’t need to be in front of the hospital.  It could be miles away.  It could cause a traffic jam that blocks your path.

Racist and prejudice are misused

Give this some thought.  Racist is a much used and abused word.   It is also misused by and abused by people protesting the abuse of the black person.  The right word to use is prejudice.  If a person is prei8dice and determined to be so it is also his right.  If they choose to use unpopular words, it is also their right, just the same as is the right to protest.  There is a difference between a protest and a mob.  Be smart enough to avoid being a member of a mob.  Think and evaluate before you act.

The amount and type of protesting devaluates what is intended.  The protesting that I am seeing today is bullying not protesting.  It is an attempt to get the general population to agree with them.   An example would be the football quarterback Drew Breeze.  He had an opinion and was bullied into apologizing.   Drew, let me say this, “You lost more than you gained with this apology.”

We praise a veteran who has put his life on the line for our country.  Many Americans, bow to the bullies of society.  They won’t even stand up for themselves,  let alone for our country.  I find it deplorable that in protesting past slavery, that many people are the puppet of the major news media that is leading people to being a slave of the government.

The best lie has some truth imbedded in it. Some information is truthful. creating credibility in their goal.   Also they are a propaganda machine.  I think that some of the media people think that they are right, but it seems to be mostly about money.  They have sold America out.  The members of the media make a lot of money keeping up their viewership.  If they can stir up the public enough, they can keep them interested. https://terrychavis1.com/index.php/2019/08/22/problem-with-media/

Racism and prejudice are not the same

I think back to the Viet Nam protests.  A good friend of mine was attending college and the news media was on campus with cameras passing out signs for a protest than was almost non existent.  They were telling students that they could hold up the sign and be on television.  Viewership gives them power and they will go to extremes to establish this power.  Drew Breeze is an example of this power.

When I was in grammar school, we had the pledge of allegiance of the flag.  We used “under god” and sang America the beautiful.  How did the Pledge of Allegiance and “one nation under god” become offensive?  Did it happen through school boards or government?  I don’t know, and if you have factual information, I would appreciate it if you let me know.

Do you think that racism and prejudice are the same?

Do the so called “Racist” protests get your sympathy?  How about angry?  What is your opinion?  I will give you mine.  It makes me angry.  The claim is they (the Masses), want justice.  That is pretty vague.  The Minnesota police officer was arrested and the other officers have been suspended pending further investigation.  Yes investigation!  Get the facts first.

Do you consider yourself as a good person?  Are you kind?  Did you ever make a mistake?  Can a good  person do bad things? Priming our opinions is a media goal. https://tomnikkola.com/prime/?fbclid=IwAR3cEUb_eRGlZ0SE_JeZ4Lz90heDjfbJNAj10xvnIOjF8dFB4BXDRxiFRvU
