The Wall Should be built

The Wall should be built. It will be expensive to build. In California our elected officials tell us that it is impractical. I don’t understanding their reasoning. Building the wall would directly save us more money than it costs to build it. According to an article published by Patrica McCarthy on June 11, 2019, the state spends $30 Billion on illegal immigration per year in California and the situation is getting worse, not better. On June 11, 2019 Patricia McCarthy reported on talks by Mark Levin, the author of Unfreedom of the Press at the Regan Library in Simi Valley, California.

I don’t need books or speeches to tell me that the border is uncontrollable. The news media tells us that there is a major problem holding illegal aliens and separating children from their mothers. Common sense tells me that if they couldn’t cross the border, they wouldn’t be held anywhere. I don’t relish making anyone suffer, but in self defense Californians need to take a stand. I believe that most Californians are good kind people. The mainstream media plays on this kindness by misdirecting the public on the real issues so there is a problem and it needs to be solved.

Election integrity

This is a real problem. in dealing with these problems. I served at a election polling site for several years and a few as inspector of elections. We had Provisional Ballots in many languages and there was no way to tell whether or not the person was a legal voter or not. We had no way to tell if the Provisional Voter was even a citizen. I don’t know how these votes are certified, and how so many could be certified in a reasonable amount of time. There is a vast number of Provisional Ballots. So it is not an issue of counting these votes, but it is an issue of verifying these votes are legitimate votes. If you know how, please comment on this blog.

Remember 911. None of us want something like that to happen again. We don’t want terrorists crossing into our country. The southern border appears to be an uncontrolled border to allow people access to our country. I’m not saying this as a scare tactic. The wall would improve the security of our country. The mainstream media makes a big issue if someone manages to squeak by airport security but ignores the lack of security on our southern border.

How about drugs. We know that we are not winning the battle against drugs. It seems plausible that there would be drugs coming along with other traffic coming across the border. Think about the money spent fighting drugs coming into this country. It’s enormous. The Wall could cut some of these costs.

We should build the wall

Light a fire under our politicians. This is a problem that both parties need to deal with.
