I just read an article this morning about Donald Trump’s reported promise to an unknown foreign leader. What bothered me the most was the presentation of “supposed facts”. The media clearly says reported. An unknown whistle blower, and a unknown leader. They go further by suggesting that he was giving away state secrets.
I don’t know what the facts are, but I do know that this article acted like there was a real problem with the President and he was giving away state secrets. After the opening, the media made accusations and presented them as facts. Furthermore, to prove to us, the dumb public, they provide comments from the anti Trump group.
While I have no objection to any group having an opinion, I do object to the news media presenting these opinions as facts. We are facing a crisis is the focus of the article that I read. The comments didn’t look for facts. They were concentrating of berating Trump which shows me that they don’t care about right and wrong, but are more into political gain.
The Democrats in Congress are wanting to investigate something that they don’t have any idea of what is true or not. They call everything that Trump tries to do a cover up while the real cover up is the misguiding the ability to get true facts. I hope that this country soon wakes up and realizes that Congress is duping the public. An unknown whistle blower information will come out if it’s necessary.
The news media, which I fine biased, encourages this behavior. We are in desperate need of an ethical press. Freedom of the press is necessary. The press does some good when they are dealing with their investigative reporting, but they also do harm to America. America wake up. Just because the news media tells you something doesn’t make it fact. If a politician is telling you something be aware that it might not be true. It is legal for them to lie to you and not legal for you to lie to them. Keep this in mind. Donald Trump’s promise is something I wish to see fulfilled.
