Increasing our knowledge base. We go about this in several ways. Watching the news, friends, talk shows, schools, and seminars are only a few of the ways that this can happen. The problem with any method of information communication may not be real.
It takes a lot more that information being transferred into your brain. Is it real or true. The world presents us with a monumental amount of information, but the problem is that some of it is false. Social media gives out as much incorrect information as it gives out the truth. Misinformation is a major tool for scammers and other unscrupulous people. Prudent evaluation is important to everyone.
People think differently
Everyone doesn’t come the the same conclusions, even when we see the same thing. We all get fooled from time to time. All we can do is to do the best that we can. Increasing our knowledge base somewhat depends of the knowledge that we had prior to receiving the new information. Do you know why we come up with different conclusions. We all have opinions prior to the reception of new information. The interpretation of the information that we receive can also be different.
Increase our knowledge base
We all need to be open to change. Common sense is one area, but not the only thing. I have different opinions that some of my friend, but I feel that they also have common sense. Is the subject important to you? Research can help, but it can biased.
Decision making can be tough. My present day decisions are made by research. I like many others have made wrong decisions in my life. Making these bad decisions had bad result and helped me be more careful today. The other view of the story is as valuable as my view. I don’t accept anything as social media as fact. What I do if I see something of interest on social media is research it. I check it out to see if it’s true.
