I hate Trump. I keep seeing this theme all over the internet. If you google this statement it will appear approximate 160 time in this search. I personally don’t hate him and I am going to vote for him. This does not mean that I love him or that I like everything that he says or does. I can’t think of anyone that I know, that does everything that I like. This includes my sons and daughter, nor do I meet their approval on everything that I do.
I did not like Obama, and I didn’t care for Michelle. I think that he was a fantastic speaker. He was obviously a great politician. What I didn’t like was most of his decisions. All of his goals were not bad. Health insurance for everyone is a great goal, but the plan in place actually harmed me. I did not complain, or support the claims, because I didn’t have a better plan. At least he tried, and things will have to be ironed out. I could say a lot of negative things about the Obama’s that are true, but in reality, it would serve no purpose. What I didn’t do was march against his election or post hate things on social media. I did not share inflammatory posts on any media.
Protests
There have been protests against the election of Donald Trump from the announcement that he won the election in 2016. This is not the America that I grew up in nor is it the America that I desire to live in. I see these actions not as a political protest, but as a step in the attempt to destroy America. It gives me the feel of the protests that we see in foreign countries. At least it is allowed in this country, but the shame in accepting the damage to property. If someone damages my property they should pay for this damage.
The Media and FAKE news
Do you remember the Viet Nam protests? On television the news media was always showing protests on college campuses. You could see protesters on camera and get their opinion. I’m going to let you know something that didn’t get reported in the news. Some of it was FAKE.
A good friend of mine was going to college at this time and was present for one of these protests. He was actually there prior to the protest being televised. What the real story was, was that there were not enough protestors to televise. The media had brought protest signs with them, and were passing them out telling people that they could be on television. Some news if fake and some is real. Are you able to figure out which is which.
I dislike Donald Trump tweeting
I know that this doesn’t always work, but I also know that Trump very little media support. It is my belief that he uses tweeting as a tool to get his name out there and depends on us to do our own thinking. Do I like everything that President Trump tweets? The answer is simply no. Does he make misstatements? Absolutely. Do I agree with most of Donald Trump’s goals in office? This is a yes. I don’t like his reactive tweeting, and I think that he could do a better Job doing it, but challenges the I hate Trump campaign.
Conclusion
How can I dislike Donald Trump? All he has done is work to keep promises. My political opinions may differ from you, but here’s what I see. I see the hate campaign as a method of keeping us focused on Trump and not focusing on the real issues and how they are handling them. An example would be the WALL. What is the cost vs what is the cost for not building it. How about drugs, illegals, and terrorist. The cost of these is much higher that that of building a wall and maintaining it. Misdirection is a method used by children on their parents and are often successful. Are you going to allow this at the political level?
