ARE WE ALL SHEEP or should we THINK FOR OURSELVES?
We are told about global warming. Is it true? Yes, It has been happening since the ice age. Do humans cause it to happen faster. Of course. Carbon dioxide is the main culprit. Just by being alive adds to the carbon dioxide in the air. Not only us, but the animals that we protect and the ones that we use for food are included. An interesting fact is that we need carbon dioxide to survive. Plants need carbon dioxide just as we need oxygen. Science has determined that CO2 has forever fluctuated. This goes back beyond the Ice Age. I’m not saying that we don’t contribute to the changes.
A very large portion of the earth is industrialized. What the United States does, doesn’t mean the rest of the world will follow. It is more likely that they will try to take economic advantage instead. If we do away with burning fuel, using solar for example, we will need batteries. To use batteries we will have to use something to convert power so that it can be saved. This could create a waste problem. Lead, by products of manufacturing etc. Some of these wastes are poisonous and could get into our water table. Solving one problem and creating another is not the answer.
We have a politician running for President that wants to outlaw the burning of carbon fuels. What good does it do to make a law for an action that there is no known way to enforce it. I would lick to see a detailed plan. Telling me that something like this would work, to me, is untrue. I don’t trust this person.
To achieve it. It looks like we have a Presidential Candidate that believes that it doesn’t matter. It just sounds good to the public. Don’t just listen to me. Do your own thinking. Major fires, like the one’s that have been in California and now the burning of the rain forests do more harm instantly. We not only loose resources, we lose plants that use carbon dioxide.
I want someone in political that does more than spend more time trying to get re-elected than they are trying to do something for our country. Many of the things that have been tried in the past, are not working. New ideas might not work, but it is better to try than to do the same old things. You can’t do the same thing over and over and expect different results.
