Politically correct and bullying is a problem. In my opinion they are the same . Political correctness is the result of intimidation. It is bullying plain and simple. Have you even given it a thought or did you just fall into line without even realizing it.
Think about it. We live in a land of free speech, but we have to be careful of what we say. Why? It’s because if someone with the power to influence other people can make your life miserable simply by putting you down on a media platform and in some cases a person can lose his job by a miss statement. An example would be the assistant general manager of the Astros was fired for a statement that he made in an interview. I don’t even know the exact wording of his statement. I don’t really care.
The Media Involvement In Bullying
You don’t usually get the full true information from the news media. From what I did hear, I didn’t find the statement offensive. This man lost his job over it. I have watched the media interview with an athlete, maneuver him into making a statement and then making an issue of it. We often see athletes, movie stars and other people put in the position of making public apologies. What causes this to happen?
It looks simple to me. The media uses political correctness to bully. The news media gets hold of a statement and with indignation, makes an issue of it. They find someone that might be offended by the statement and convince the public that the person making the statement did a serious wrong thing. Why? It’s done for money and power. You would think that money was enough, but it’s not. In today’s world, the ability to influence people is.

I believe that the ability to influence the public that brings in the money and if you don’t think so, then please explain the volume of news media programs that we see in one night. Look at the times when they are presented, The Six O’clock News and the Eleven O’clock News. You receive these programs at these times because that is when you are most vulnerable. At six o’clock many people are just starting to relax and start watching TV and at eleven o’clock they are going to bed carrying these thoughts to bed with us.
