Poop or get off the pot. This is about taking action. We can’t wait forever. I am talking about what is happening today. People are not going to be willing to sit around in their house forever. The government can’t give them money forever. Our economy is going to have a rough time recovering. It will suffer even more if we continue keeping it shut down.
I heard Gavin Newsom say on Television that he mandated staying home and shutting down businesses because he could. People aren’t claiming that this was an abuse of power. He is being praised for taking early action. I did not and do not agree on how this was done. My approach would have been to properly warn of the dangers. This includes that the young are not safe along with senior people. But at least he didn’t wait and he took action. At the least he did something. Donald Trump took the same approach in getting people back to work. The Democrats and the Media didn’t like it, but at least he made a decision.
I admit that my way has flaws. All people didn’t follow government orders. My way would have caused more positive virus results because of this. The COVID-19 is peaking in most places. Action once again is required. It is time to plan the next move.

The person that was never wrong, never did anything.
Donald Trump is off the pot. He will error a lot and I don’t always agree with him. But I do respect that he is meeting the challenge and if he is wrong changing direction. His ideas may seem rash but he’s surging ahead. Even good decisions can produce some bad resulting side issues. An example would be California’s mandatory wearing of a mask. People are wearing masks, but throwing them on the ground creating a trash problem. I am not a Gavin Newsom fan, but I respect that he is making decisions. I respect Donald Trump for the same reason.
